Carrots have one growing season in Coastal Georgia, Late Summer through Spring. Specific Recommended Growing Dates are listed below.

Carrots thrive between the temperatures of 50 degrees and 75 degrees. When temperature drop below 50 degrees, the growth rate slows down, temperatures above 80 degrees can cause stress to the plant. Carrots are frost tolerant, surviving temperatures as low as 20 degrees.

Carrot Seeds are small, Sow them no deeper than ¼”. Keep in mind, with small seeds, it is best to plant them too shallow than too deep.

For best results, avoid transplanting carrot plants. Sow seeds directly into the container or garden. If transplanting, do so with caution and care. Continuously start new rows of carrots throughout the growing season to produce a staggered harvest.

Seed Pack contains 140+ Seeds.

Rainbow Carrots are a blend of colorful heirloom varieties (red, purple, yellow, white, etc.). At full maturity, carrots will vary in length between 5” to 8”. Rainbow Carrots grow best in well-drained soil and require regular watering. Grow carrots in the ground or in a container.
