Description

Peppers can be grown anytime in Georgia after Spring’s last Frost and before Fall’s first Frost! For best results, we recommend planting in the Spring, then harvesting into the Summer, and finishing up in the Fall. Specific Recommended Growing Dates are listed below.

Hungarian Wax Peppers are light green, heat tolerant, and have a slightly hotter flavor than Jalapeno Peppers. Expect Peppers to be approximately 5 ½” Long and 1 ½” Wide. To reduce the heat that a pepper adds to any dish, first strip the seeds from the pepper.

Peppers prefer a heavier soil, so if your soil is sandy or loamy, add a little bit of organic material to it (compost, manure, castings, etc). Make sure that the soil is well-drained.

Peppers are a great source for Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin, K, Potassium, Carotene, and many more nutrients!

Full Sun during Summer’s Peak Heat can sometimes cause stress to Pepper Plants. If this happens, reduce the plant’s sun exposure during the peak of the afternoon heat.

Expect for the plants to grow 2 to 3 Feet Tall.

Seed Pack Contains 100+ Seeds.

The “heat” flavor of peppers is measured in Scoville Units. To give you an idea, Green Bell Peppers, rank at 0 Scoville Units, or “no heat”.
