Description

Kale has two growing seasons in Georgia; The Spring and Fall Crops. During the Spring Season Kale is started in Late Winter/Early Spring and harvested into the Late Spring and Early Summer. The Fall Season, where Kale is started in Summer/Late Summer and harvested into the Early Winter.

Ethiopian Kale is remarkable because it has a higher tolerance for heat than other leafy greens (while maintaining its tolerance for the cold). Native to the Highlands of Ethiopia, this heirloom vegetable continues to thrive as the temperatures swing from warm to cold and dry to humid. Ethiopian Kale is hardy, delicious, tender, crisp, and very productive. Leaves are not curly, instead they are flat and curved. As the temperature drops the leave’s mild flavor becomes more sweet.

Crisp and tender, Kale is nutritious and delicious. A SUPERFOOD, Kale is loaded with nutrients. Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Folate, Calcium, and much more!

Seed Pack contains 140+ Seeds.

Expect Kale Plants to reach a height of 1.5 to 3 feet and a width of 1 to 3 feet.
