Description

Beets have two growing seasons in Georgia. The Spring Season, where Beets are started in Late Winter/Early Spring and harvested into the Late Spring and Summer. The Fall Season, where Beets are started in Summer/Late Summer and harvested into the Early Winter.

Early Wonder Beets are the classic heirloom beet. Beets are loaded with nutrient-dense and antioxidant-rich. Save the beet leaves! Beets are a relative of Swiss Chard and their leaves are very similar. When the leaves are young, they’re tender, and delicious eaten raw. As the leaves mature, cook them like any other green (Swiss Chard, Kale, etc.).
