Long Thin Cayenne Peppers are one of the world’s favorite Hot Pepper Varieties. Cayenne Peppers grow into productive and hardy plants. Produces mildly hot peppers that are 6” in length and less than 1” in thickness. Cooked or Raw, Cayenne Peppers add their unique flavor and heat to any meal. To reduce the heat that a hot pepper adds to any dish, by stripping and discarding the seeds from the pepper.

Peppers prefer a heavier soil, so if your soil is sandy or loamy, add a little bit of organic material to it (compost, manure, castings, etc). Make sure that they’re planted in well-drained soil, receive plenty of sunlight, and are regularly watered (but not over watered). Expect for the plants to grow 2 to 3 Feet Tall. Full Sun during Summer’s Peak Heat can sometimes cause stress to Pepper Plants. If this happens, reduce the plant’s sun exposure during the peak of the afternoon heat.

Peppers are a great source for Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin, K, Potassium, Carotene, and many more nutrients!
