Description

Broccoli has two growing seasons in Georgia. The Spring Season, where Broccoli is started in Late Winter/Early Spring and harvested into the Late Spring and Early Summer. The Fall Season, where Broccoli is started in Summer/Late Summer and harvested into the Early Winter.

Broccoli thrives between the temperatures of 40 degrees and 75 degrees. It is frost tolerant, surviving temperatures as low as 25 degrees.

Calabrese Sprouting Broccoli is an old heirloom variety that thrives in the South! An Old Italian Heirloom variety, Calabrese Sprouting was first brought to the United States in the 19th Century. Broccoli is a great source for Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Potassium, Fiber, and much more!
