The Cherry Belle Radish is an heirloom variety that thrives in the Georgia Garden. Producing round red radishes, expect radishes ¾ inch wide. Cherry Belle Radishes are excellent eaten fresh, cooked, stewed, and pickled. Radishes are very productive, expect about one month from seed to harvest.
Radish Leaves may be eaten as a tender leafy green or cooked like Kale, Collards, or Mustard Greens.
For best results, avoid transplanting radish plants (if transplanting, do it early). Sow seeds directly into the container or garden. If transplanting, do so with caution and care. Continuously start new rows of radishes throughout the growing season to produce a staggered harvest.
