Description
Beans are a perfect fit for the Georgia Garden! Tolerant to the heat, but not tolerant to cold, it is easy to produce harvests during Georgia’s Bean Season. We recommend planting beans twice, once in the Spring and again in the early Summer. The key is growing them throughout the warmest and sunniest part of the year. The crop planted in the Spring will be harvested during the Summer and the crop planted during the Early Summer will be harvested in the Late Summer/Early Fall. Please see the recommended growing dates below.
Tendergreen Improved Green Beans are a Bush-Type String Bean. They’re tolerant to the Humid Heat of the Summer, Heirloom, and naturally resistant to many diseases.
Nothing is better than beans harvested fresh from the garden! The texture and flavor leave the taste buds feeling nourished and fresh.
