Description

Clemson Okra is a “spineless” variety, meaning that it tends to produce calyxes that are large, tender, and tasty!

Okra is fantastic stewed, fried, pickled, and creatively incorporated into your favorite culinary delight!

Okra prefers warm weather, warm soil, and sun. This combination makes it a perfect plant for the Georgia Garden. Okra is exceptionally heat tolerant in the simmering Summer Heat. Please be aware that Okra Plants struggle when temperatures drop into the 40’s.

To help increase the germination rate, soak seeds in a moist paper towel for 4-6 hours before planting. Plant seeds no deeper than 1/2″. Germination may take up to 10-25 Days.

Harvest Okra shortly after flowers have fallen for most tender pods.
